The Withair® Self-contained systems provide a unique ventilation solution to high-rise buildings in urban areas. These units can be built as complete systems or modularly to be taken apart to fit into freight elevators, hallways, and doorways. This allows ventilation specific to each floor instead of extreme lengths of duct to the roof. Typically, each floor will have their own self-contained AC unit, making them an ideal solution for multi-tenant office buildings where management can track energy usage per tenant. Units are typically located in the building’s mechanical room, meaning any service is done behind closed doors and is not a disruption to the workplace. Units are available with factory provided controls, direct expansion (DX) cooling, chilled water cooling, electric heat, and hot water heat. Withair’s self-contained system lineup is ideal for older buildings and renovation projects too. Designed to fit in freight elevators and through standard doorways, modular options include “split-apart” systems, in which the fan/coil section splits from the condenser unit, or a completely modular, cassette-designed system with the smallest footprint and faster assembly.
